Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 Crane Overview

The Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 is renowned for its ability to access even the tightest sites while delivering outstanding results. With a maximum lifting capacity of 40 tonnes, a jib length extending up to 35 meters, and an outreach of 31 meters, it stands as a modern taxi crane in the industry. The crane’s boom size ranges from 10.5 meters to 35 meters, providing versatility for various lifting requirements.

Supplied with lifting chains and webbing slings, the Liebherr 40t Mobile Crane ensures that you have the necessary equipment to complete most lifts. The counterweight, ranging from 1.5 tonnes to 6.5 tonnes, and the crane’s compact dimensions – 8.53m chassis length, 2.55m width, and 3.600m height – make it a highly adaptable solution for projects with spatial constraints.

The outrigger base, measuring 6.3m x 6.0m, contributes to the crane’s stability during operations. With a total crane weight of 24 tonnes (including a 1.5-tonne counterweight) and two steerable axles, the Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 is equipped to handle a wide range of lifting tasks efficiently.

For clients seeking a comprehensive solution with peace of mind, our Contract Lifting services are tailored to meet your specific needs. We take on the responsibility of the lift, providing expertise, safety assurance, and meticulous planning throughout the process.

Our commitment extends to adhering to British Standard 7121 “Safe use of cranes” and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). We supply an Appointed Person to develop a Method Statement, Risk Assessment, and Lifting Plan, ensuring that every aspect of the lift is carefully considered and executed in compliance with industry standards.

Additionally, our Contract Lifting services include providing suitable insurance cover, a dedicated Lift Supervisor, and a Slinger/Signaller. These measures are in place to guarantee the safe and efficient execution of the lift, giving our clients confidence in the successful completion of their projects.
